Town Day cheque for £550 presented. to provide adventure playground equipment.
At a meeting of Burgess Hill Rotary Club, the Lions’ Club and the ROund Table at Ockley Lodge Hotel, Keymer, a cheque was presented to the Chairman of Burgess Hill Urban District Council to provide the equipment for the adventure playground which is being constructed in Queens Cresent. The money was raised at the Town Day which is organized by the three clubs.
