Burgess Hill Youth and four Young Carers visited the Spitfire Experience at Wisborough Green on 17 December.
They all enjoyed the opportunity to fly in the Spitfire aircraft simulator which was paid for by Burgess Hill District Lions.
They can be seen holding their certificates with the two volunteer pilots that took them through the process of flying the simulator.
All funds raised through the fees to use the simulator are donated to the RAF benevolent fund.
Burgess Hill District Lions hosted a fundraiser for Burgess Hill Youth on Saturday 3 September at the Martlets Hall. Chicory Tip, a fantastic band from the 70’s, provided entertainment from 8pm through to 11pm – the dance floor was packed!!
£1770 was the figure raised over the night from ticket and raffle ticket sales. Steve Willis Training kindly sponsored the event ensuring all funds raised went directly to Burgess Hill Youth.
